How does Family Day affect services at the Region?

Waterloo Region – Here is a list of Region of Waterloo service changes for Family Day, Monday, February 18, 2013.

What’s open/not affected:

GRT bus routes will be operating on a Sunday service schedule. www.grt.ca . 

GRT Terminals hours of operation will not be affected.

GRT customer service – Hours of operation 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. will not be affected.

 Waterloo Region MuseumOpen regular admission and hours.

Region of Waterloo International Airportwill not be affected. 

Sunnyside Home - Fabulous Finds Gift Shop – Open
Sunnyside Home’s Sand hills Café - Open 

Waste/recycling/green bin pick up will not be affected.

What’s Closed:

Cambridge/Waterloo waste transfer stations residential drop-off – Closed

All Regional Administrative Offices (99 Regina – Waterloo, 150 Frederick – Kitchener, 150 Main – Cambridge, Airport Administrative, Sunnyside Administrative.) – Closed 

All Regional Libraries – Closed 

Joseph Schneider Haus - Closed

McDougall Cottage – Closed

Sunnyside Wellness Centre - Closed

Regional Daycare centers and Home Child Care – Closed
