Have your say on the Regional Government Review
The City of Cambridge has scheduled a Town Hall Meeting for Thursday, May 23 for the community to have their say on the Regional Government Review currently being conducted by the Provincial Government. Members of the community are invited to make a presentation to Council sharing their thoughts on the review.
While Cambridge City Council has no authority in any decisions arising out of this review, all comments will be collected and submitted to the Province for consideration as part of their review process.
Under our current governance system, we are in a two-tier structure with the Region of Waterloo. This meeting will provide the community the opportunity to comment on this structure and share what they think would be best for the future of Cambridge.
