GRT fares changing on July 1
Waterloo Region – Effective July 1, 2023, Grand River Transit (GRT) fares will increase by an average of 2.5 per cent to meet the rising cost of operating transit, and grow the network to encourage future ridership.
Fare prices were approved during the 2023 budget process.
Discounted fares are available for people living with low income. The Affordable Transit Program provides a 48 per cent discount on monthly passes, stored value and MobilityPLUS tickets.
