The Sports Awards Committee is privileged to announce that this year’s master of ceremonies is Mandy Bujold. Mandy is an amateur boxer whose career was launched following a successful 2006 when she claimed the Canadian National Championships and Boxer of the Year titles. Since that time she has won 11 consecutive Canadian National championships, three continental championships, a bronze medal at the commonwealth games and two back-to-back gold medals at the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games. Mandy finished 5th at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Away from boxing Mandy was a part of the 2015 Pan Am games organization committee and worked on a bid with Waterloo Region for the 2021 Canada Games. She is also the current athlete representative for Boxing Canada.
