“First Dose Friday” walk-in vaccination clinics for priority neighbourhoods

Waterloo Region – Residents of five priority neighbourhoods in Waterloo Region who have not yet received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine have the opportunity to attend one of two walk-in vaccination clinics this Friday. Anyone who lives, works or cares for someone in these neighbourhoods is welcome to attend “First Dose Friday.”

These two walk-in vaccination clinics are occurring on Friday, June 11 at Victoria Hills Community Centre and Chandler Mowat Community Centre. Health care staff will be available to answer questions individuals may have about getting the vaccine.

Victoria Hills Community Centre

10 Chopin Drive, Kitchener

9:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Chandler Mowat Community Centre

222 Chandler Drive, Kitchener

11 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Anyone 12+ who lives, works or cares for people in the Alpine/Laurentian, Columbia/Lakeshore, Country Hills, Vanier/Rockway and Victoria Hills/Cherry Hill can attend either one of the “First Dose Friday” vaccination clinics. No appointment is required. Free parking is available.

Members of the public are strongly encouraged to protect themselves and those they love by getting their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.
