Filming Notification - Saturday, March 17, 2018

We are very excited to be welcoming the cast and crew of Designated Survivor back to Cambridge! 

They will be returning to various locations throughout the Galt Core Area to film scenes for their upcoming season finale on the above noted date.  As this is a fairly large shoot with numerous locations being proposed, there is also potential for them to return on Thursday, March 22, 2018.  No road closures or intermittent stoppages have been granted to maintain area traffic flows through the core.  Staff from Waterloo Region Police Services will be onsite to assist should there be a need.

Spend your St. Patrick's Day at one of our fine Galt restaurants or pubs - you never know who you might run into.

Project Impacts:

• In an effort to maintain as much core parking as possible, agreements have been made to utilize private lots - with minimal public parking being granted to the production company
• Reduced parking in the vicinty of Queens Square
• Reduced parking at Churchill Park and Dickson Arena
