Film Notification - Thursday, March 22, 2018

We are very excited to be welcoming the cast and crew of Designated Survivor back to Cambridge - for the second time in less than a week! 

They will be returning to various locations throughout the Galt Core Area to film scenes for their upcoming season finale on the above noted date.  As they complete filming in each location, parking and road closures will be released.  

Spend your Thursday exploring the many wonderful businesses in the Galt Core - you never know who you might run into.

Project Impacts:

• Closure of the Market Parking Lot
• Reduced parking on Water Street
• Reduced parking at Galt Arena, Dickson Arena and Churchill Park
• Intermittent traffic control on Dickson Street
• Full closure of Warnock Street
• Various amounts of set dressing - including replacement of Canadian flags with the Union Jack

Please note - this project will involve scenes of violence and there is the potential for simulated gunfire.  Staff from Waterloo Region Police Services will be on site to ensure public safety.
