Fatal Snowmobile Collision in Woodlawn area

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, December 31, 2021      7:02pm

(Ottawa) — On Friday, December 31, 2021 at approximately 3:00pm, the Ottawa Police, Fire and Paramedic Services were called to a collision involving a snowmobile. The accident occurred in the Woodlawn area.

The rider involved in the collision, a 14 year old female was transported to Arnprior Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The victim’s Next-of-Kin has been notified. 

The cause of the collision is still under investigation and no further details are available at this time.
