Enjoy the last bit of summer this Labour Day weekend with activities in Cambridge
Cambridge, Ontario. Aug 27, 2019… Enjoy the last little bit of summer as it unofficially comes to a close this Labour Day long weekend. Take advantage of outdoor swims, the great selection of fresh food at the Cambridge Farmers’ Market, and a variety of activities at Idea Exchange.
All three outdoor city pools will be open Saturday and Sunday running regular hours and programming. Ed Newland and Soper pools will also be open Labour Day Monday with special holiday hours to soak in that last bit of summer. Indoor pools are also open Saturday and Sunday. Stop by the Cambridge Farmers’ Market to browse through a wide selection of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, crafts to make this weekend a tasty one. As the fall season nears, check out the Farmers’ Market for all your fall favourites. Visit the market on Saturday, 7a.m. - 1p.m.
Idea Exchange has a variety of activities to check out on Sat., Aug. 31. A virtual reality simulation will be offered at Clemens Mill from 2p.m. – 4p.m. and The Old Post Office from 10a.m. - 5p.m. for a futuristic and fun exploration experience or check out the Harry Potter escape room taking place at the Hespeler location (online registration required).
