Easter holiday waste collection and disposal (1)

Waterloo Region – There will be no change to the waste collection schedule on the Easter holiday.

Regular green bin, blue box and garbage collection will take place on Friday, April 6, 2012 and Monday, April 9, 2012.  

Some waste collection and preparation tips:

  • All waste items should be at the curb by 7 a.m. on your regular collection day.
  • Waste containers must weigh less than 23 kilograms for collection.

The Cambridge and Waterloo waste transfer and landfill disposal sites will be open Friday, April 6 and Monday, April 9, 2012 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Elmira transfer station will be closed Friday, April 6, 2012.
