Easter holiday waste collection and disposal

Waterloo Region – There will be no change to the waste collection schedule over the Easter holiday.

Regular green bin, blue box, garbage and yard waste collections will take place on Friday, March 29, 2013 and Monday, April 1, 2013.

All Waste Management small vehicle transfer stations will be closed for residential drop-off on both Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1.  This includes:

•  201 Savage Drive, Cambridge, 
• 925 Erb St. W., Gate 2, Waterloo, and  
• Elmira transfer station.

 Some waste collection and preparation tips:

o All waste items should be at the curb by 7 a.m. on your regular collection day.

o Waste containers must weigh less than 23 kg (50 pounds) for collection.

o Blue boxes should be no taller than 40 cm (16 inches).

o Yard waste should be in paper bags only (no plastic).
