Delivery of new residential waste collection annual calendars, plus 10 free garbage tags!
Waterloo Region – Delivery of annual waste collection calendars to eligible Waterloo Region homeowners is now underway. These calendars contain important information on the new waste collection services that begins March 6, 2017, including:
- A free supply of ten (10) garbage tags if you must set out more than the limit (and how to purchase more);
- How to find out if your garbage collection day is changing;
- With garbage being collected every two weeks, when is your first week of collection;
- What are the new limits for garbage bags/cans and bulky item set-outs;
- What can you recycle in your weekly collection of blue boxes and green bins; and
- How to download the My Waste app for quick, easy access to information and schedule reminders.
Deliveries of the calendar are expected to be completed by February 10, 2017.
