Councillors to take bus tour of Regional facilities

Waterloo Region – Members of Regional Council and city/township Councils will be taking a bus tour of Regional facilities on Friday, May 4, 2012. 

Some of the stops will include the King/Victoria Street Transit Hub, the Waterloo Waste Management Centre, the Airport Operations Centre, Christopher Children’s Centre and the new Emergency Medical Services station at Conestoga College.

Members of the media are invited to attend this tour.

What: Bus tour of Regional facilities

Where: Bus will depart from and return to 150 Frederick Street, Kitchener. The bus will stop at various locations throughout Waterloo Region.

When: Friday, May 4. Bus departs at 9:45 a.m. and returns by 3:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be available in the lobby at 9:30 a.m.
