Construction notice: Roseville Road Wildlife Crossing North Dumfries Township June 10, 2024
About the project
The Region is adding protective measures for wildlife along Roseville Road. The work includes directional fencing and a tunnel under Roseville Road.
Timing – June 10, 2024
Construction will be completed in stages starting June 10, 2024, and be completed by the end of June 2024.
Closures – Roseville Road
Roseville Road will be closed to through traffic on or about June 17, 2024, for approximately 10 days from 905m east of Brown Avenue to Bismark Drive to allow for the installation of a tunnel.
Detour
Edworthy Side Road – Cedar Creek Road – St. Andrews Street – George Street South – Blair Road.
Bismark Drive. and Queensbrook Crescent will remain accessible via Blair Road.
Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Paramedics) and Student Transportation Services have been notified of the construction, closures and detours to minimize any disruptions to services.
Pedestrian access
Work will occur along the shoulders of the road. Pedestrians should follow the signs as they travel through the site.
Property and business access
Please plan for some delays and travel carefully in the construction zone. We request that when driving or walking through and around the construction zone you follow and obey the construction traffic signage for your safety and the safety of the workers.
