Construction Notice: Highland Road, September 18-22

About the project

Surface asphalt paving and line painting of Highland Road from Ira Needles Boulevard to Fischer Hallman Road. 

Timing — under construction September 18 - 22

The work will start on September 18 and be completed by end of day September 22.

Closures - Highland Road to be closed

Highland Road will be closed to through traffic from Ira Needles Boulevard to Fischer-Hallman Road. Local traffic, those living or working in the closed area, will be allowed through.

Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Paramedics) will be given priority at all times and will be able to pass.

Pedestrian access

This area's sidewalks/multi-use trails will remain accessible during the paving. Pedestrians should follow the signs as they walk through the site.

Property and business access

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible during construction. Every effort will be made to maintain access to residential and business driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities may temporarily impact access to entrances. We will provide notice of any interruption in advance as much as possible.

Please plan for some delays and travel carefully in the construction zone. We request that when driving or walking through and around the construction zone, you follow and obey the construction traffic signage for your safety and for the safety of the workers.
