Surface asphalt paving of Fischer-Hallman Road between Bleams Road and Strasburg Creek.

Timing — under construction September 18 - 19

Fischer-Hallman Road surface asphalt paving between Bleams Road and Strasburg Creek is scheduled to be completed September 18 and 19 with alternate dates of September 20 and 21, if required due to weather.

Closures

Fischer-Hallman Road will be closed starting September 18 for two days, pending weather, to through traffic from Bleams Road to the Williamsburg Cemetery for surface asphalt paving. Otherwise, two-way traffic will be maintained during construction.

Detour

During the road closure in September, traffic will be detoured along Bleams Road, Trussler Road, and Huron Road.

Active transportation access

A temporary and/or permanent active transportation facility will be available as much as possible during construction to access the Sunfish Shopping Centre (Food Basics plaza).

Property and business access

Fischer-Hallman Road access to the Sunfish Shopping Centre (Food Basics plaza) will be closed to vehicles during surface asphalt paving, but the Bleams Road access will remain open.

Every effort will be made to maintain access from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. during all other construction activities. Construction activities may temporarily affect access to entrances. Advanced notice will be provided for planned access interruption/s.

Please plan for delays and travel carefully in the construction zone. We request that when driving or walking through and around the construction zone you follow and obey the construction traffic signage for your safety and for the safety of the workers.
