Community Energy Strategy: Tell us what you think!

Waterloo Region – The Region is looking for public input on its Community Energy Investment Strategy. The Strategy aims to help residents and employers save on energy, boost the economy by keeping more energy spending local, and identify cleaner, sustainable sources of energy.

The Community Energy Investment Strategy and supporting information can be found at: www.regionofwaterloo.ca/CommunityEnergyInvestment.

To give feedback, go to www.peakdemocracy.com/portals/274/Issue_5655. Written comments can also be sent to David Roewade at droewade@regionofwaterloo.ca. Public comments will be collected until Dec. 14, 2017.

The Region of Waterloo worked in collaboration with the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo, and the local electrical and natural gas utilities to complete the Community Energy Investment Strategy.
