Charges laid in Break and Enter on Donald Munro Drive

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, February 28, 2020    11:42 am 

(Ottawa) – Frontline officers responded to a break and enter in progress in the 400 block of Donald Munro Drive overnight. 

At approximately 2:50am, two men broke into a business to steal a large quantity of merchandise. They fled the area in a vehicle. 

A witness provided a detailed description of the vehicle and suspects. Responding officers in the area located and stopped the vehicle shortly after. The suspects were arrested without incident. The merchandise was recovered. 

The Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit has charged Adam HORNER, 34 years old and Anthony MARTINEZ, 59 years old, both of Ottawa with:

  • Break and Enter
  • Possession of Break and Enter Instruments 

MARTINEZ has also been charged with 2 counts of Breach of a Recognizance. 

HORNER has been charged additionally with Breach of Recognizance and Breach of Probation. 

Both are scheduled to appear in court today.
