Celebrate Labour Day in Cambridge this weekend
Cambridge, Ontario. Aug 28, 2018… Make the most of the last weekend of summer in Cambridge this Labour Day weekend with outdoor swims, a trip to the Cambridge Farmers’ Market, and art exhibits.
All three outdoor pools will be open Saturday and Sunday running regular hours and programming. Ed Newland and Soper pools will also be open Labour Day with holiday hours. Indoor pools are also open for leisure swims on Saturday and Sunday. For hours and swim schedules, visit www.cambridge.ca/swim.
The Cambridge Farmers’ Market is a one-stop-shop for the perfect long weekend barbeque. From local meats, breads and cheeses to sweet desserts, wine and fresh fruit, the market offers a wide selection to plan the perfect summer barbeque. Visit the market on Saturday, 7 a.m. - 1p.m.
Idea Exchange has two exhibits on display over the weekend for art enthusiasts. Of Constraints and Firestarts is on display at the Queen’s Square gallery, exploring how creative ideas can be exchanged in a variety of formats. As well, Licensed to Show at Design at Riverside, featuring a selection of works from the Contemporary Fibre Collection.
