Cambridge North Dumfries Ontario Health Team to open COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Cambridge
Waterloo Region – Cambridge primary care providers and staff from the Cambridge North Dumfries Ontario Health Team are collaborating to bring another COVID-19 vaccination clinic to Waterloo Region. Starting Tuesday, April 20, members of the community who are eligible for the vaccine have the option of getting vaccinated at the Cambridge North Dumfries Ontario Health Team Vaccination Clinic at Langs, 1145 Concession Road in Cambridge.
The Cambridge North Dumfries Ontario Health Team is comprised of 32 agencies and health service providers from Cambridge, North Dumfries and Waterloo Region. Many partners are already participating in COVID-19 vaccination efforts in Waterloo Region, including supporting a previous clinic at Langs that served the 80+ population.
“We are tremendously grateful for the support and assistance of the Cambridge North Dumfries Ontario Health Team to open up this vaccination clinic that any resident who is eligible for the vaccine can attend,” said Shirley Hilton, Deputy Chief for Waterloo Region Police Service and head of the Waterloo Region Vaccine Distribution Task Force. “The physicians, nurses, administrative staff and volunteers who are working on the frontline and behind the scenes are an integral part of the vaccine rollout. We cannot thank them enough.”
Anyone who has pre-registered for the COVID-19 vaccine through the Region of Waterloo booking system, and who has been notified it’s their turn to book an appointment, can select the Cambridge North Dumfries Ontario Health Team vaccination clinic at Langs.
