Call for nominations for the Cambridge Hall of Fame

Cambridge, Ontario. March 8, 2017… The City of Cambridge Archives and Records Centre is currently accepting nominations for the Cambridge Hall of Fame. Nominations are being accepted until Friday, Mar. 31 at 4:30 p.m.

Members of the Cambridge Hall of Fame include individuals, groups, teams or corporate entities who have a connection with Cambridge or its founding communities, and who have made a significant contribution either to the betterment of this community, another community or humanity in general.

“The Hall of Fame awards are a great opportunity to recognize and celebrate some of our community leaders. These people continually go above and beyond to make a difference,” explains Mayor Doug Craig. ”They make our community better and make Cambridge a great city.”

The Cambridge Hall of Fame was established in 1994 and is now home to more than a hundred members. It was created to remember and honour men, women and organizations who, through their work and dedication, have either made Cambridge a better place to live or brought renown to the city through their deeds abroad.

Online nomination forms are available on the City’s website or at the Cambridge Archives and Record Centre, at Historic City Hall, 2nd floor 46 Dickson Street.  Nominations will be accepted until 4:30 pm on Friday, Mar. 31, 2017. New members to the Cambridge Hall of Fame will be announced at a ceremony in June 2017.
