Apply now for City advisory committees and boards

Cambridge, Ontario (December 7, 2022) - The City of Cambridge is looking for community members to volunteer on City Advisory Committees and Boards. These volunteers play a key role in providing advice and feedback to City Council and staff on a variety of topics including heritage, accessibility, the environment and economic development.

Applications are being accepted until Friday, December 23, 2022.

Members of the public, 18 years of age or older, representing the diverse backgrounds of our community are encouraged to apply. Participating on a City committee provides a unique opportunity to:

• Lend your voice and expertise to help shape decisions and services that impact our community
• Expand your network and meet new people
• Gain a broader understanding of how municipal government works

The City of Cambridge has more than eighteen committees and boards. On November 29, 2022, City Council approved a new Advisory Committee Appointment Policy for Cambridge (Report 22-056-CRS). The new policy provides an outline for the process of public appointments to advisory committees at the City and introduces provisions for diversity and inclusion.
