The Early Learning and Child Care Profiles developed by Children’s Services covers the four A’s of early learning and child care in Waterloo Region.

The data contained in these profiles doesn’t just provide a look at Early Learning and Child Care over the past year; it provides a year-to-year comparison of key indicators that can be used to identify trends and changes in the community.

If you are a Region of Waterloo community partner, an agency involved in early learning, or a child care operator/caregiver, this report can be helpful for information sharing and planning.

If your children are enrolled in licensed child care or if you’re thinking about registering, this document provides information on the type of care available and the average cost, as well as an overview of supports available to families.
