History Prize
Please note that nominations are not currently being accepted for the History Prize.
Founded in 2013, the Region of Waterloo History Prize is awarded to a piece of work published within the previous 5 years which has helped to educate and promote the heritage of the Waterloo Region through the published work.
Eligibility
- The prize may be presented in any format, including, but not limited to a book, movie, article, play etc.
Deadline
- Nominations are not currently being accepted.
Application Procedure
- The nomination application may simply be a letter signed by the nominator(s) that clearly details why the nominee is worthy of an award or a completed copy of the Foundation nomination form (found here or by contacting wrhf@regionofwaterloo.ca).
- For consideration in The Region of Waterloo History Prize, please submit three copies of the work which is to be considered, along with an invoice for the copies.
- The nominator of the considered work will be reimbursed by the Waterloo Regional Heritage Foundation once an invoice has been received.
