Winter Parking

The winter parking ban from Sunday, Jan. 25 expired at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan 29.

The City of St. Catharines is committed to keeping roads and sidewalks clear to help ensure the safe travel of our motorists, pedestrians, emergency vehicles, and public transit throughout the winter season.

Winter Parking bans

We will temporarily ban on-street parking based on forecasted weather and local observations including temperature, wind and road conditions. While this helps us determine how long a winter parking ban will last, you should plan to park off street for at least 72 hours.

Vehicles not removed from the streets are at high risk of ticketing and towing.
