Pool Rentals

The City of St. Catharines offers private pool rentals for the Kiwanis Aquatics Centre and its outdoor pools.

Rent a St. Catharines City Pool

You can book the Kiwanis Aquatics Centre lane or leisure pool by calling 905.688.5601 ext. 1800. Leisure Pool rentals are available on Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Bookings for swim teams and rowing teams

We offer the Kiwanis Aquatics Centre's lane pool for swim teams and rowing teams. The pool can be booked per lane, with a maximum of 10 people per lane, per hour.

Learn how teachers at area schools can book an instructional swim program for their students. The program's in-water and in-class lifesaving skills help participants recover from falls in deep water.

Leisure pool and lane pool features

The Kiwanis Aquatics Centre's leisure pool includes spray features, a ramp and beach entry. Water is warmed to 32 degrees Celsius (90 degrees Fahrenheit) to accommodate the needs of older adults, children and recreational activity.

The centre's lane pool is a 25-metre, eight-lane rectangular pool that features ramp entry and accommodates lane swimming, recreational swimming and swim meets. Water is warmed to 28 degrees Celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit).

Rates and fees

Our pool rental rates and fees include:

  • Kiwanis Aquatics Centre leisure pool rental (one to 30 people): $136.10 per hour (includes HST and lifeguard surcharge fee)
  • Kiwanis Aquatics Centre leisure pool rental (31 to 109 people): $170.55 per hour (includes HST and lifeguard surcharge fee)
  • Kiwanis Aquatics Centre lane pool - one lane rental for leisure swim (maximum of 10 people): $23.50 per hour (includes HST and lifeguard surcharge fee)
  • Kiwanis Aquatics Centre lane pool - one lane rental for lane swim (maximum of 10 people): $17.90 per hour (includes HST and lifeguard surcharge fee)
  • Kiwanis Aquatics Centre lane pool rental - one lane rental for swim teams and rowing teams (maximum of 10 people): $18.15 per hour (includes HST and lifeguard surcharge fee)

All rentals are subject to a $2.30 facility surcharge. For any rental two hours or longer, an additional lifeguard fee of $23.85 (includes HST) applies.
