Leisure Swimming

Leisure swims are open to everyone, whether you are an advanced swimmer or beginner. There is no pressure to swim fast. Everyone is welcome to drift and float and enjoy a comfortable swim. Leisure swims are ideal for people of all ages to enjoy and play in an aquatic setting.

Any Age Length Swimming

All ages are welcome to enjoy Any Age Lengths Swimming. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please check how pool lanes are divided and/or designated to other activities.

Observe the pace of swimmers before finding the lane that best suits your pace. See a lifeguard if you need assistance.

To help ensure your children have a safe and enjoyable swimming experience, we use a colour-coded wristband procedure to identify children at risk. This allows us to adequately supervise any children needing extra assistance in the pool area.

All children aged 10 and under are given a wristband by facility staff and are required to complete the facility swim test in order to swim in the deep area of the pool. We also may ask any guest, of any age, to complete the facility swim test before entering the deep area.

Facility swim test (large outdoor pool)

The facility swim test for large outdoor pools involves a feet-first jump into shallow water. Then participants must tread water for one minute and swim a recognizable front crawl for 20 metres.

Facility swim test (small outdoor pool)

The facility swim test for small outdoor pools involves a front float, with your face submerged for five seconds, and returning to a standing position unassisted.

Children 7-10 years old
