Leash-free Dog Parks
You can visit two City-operated leash-free dog parks in St. Catharines at:
- Burgoyne Woods
- The Carol Disher Leash Free Dog Park at Catherine Street Park
Dog park rules
- Parks are open dawn to dusk.
- Use parks at your own risk
- Users are subject to the Dog Owner's Liability Act
- Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the leash-free areas
- Only dogs under 16 inches are allowed in the small dogs area at Burgoyne Woods
- Dogs must be kept in sight and under verbal control
- Children must be supervised
- No food, glass or toys
- Clean up after your dog
- No puppies under four months old
- No female dogs in heat
- No sick dogs
- No aggressive dogs or dogs requiring a muzzle
