Niagara 2041

The City of St. Catharines is taking part in Niagara 2041, Niagara Region's Municipal Comprehensive Review, which guides regional planning for growth. The project helps ensure that municipalities are ready for the future by fostering a prosperous and sustainable region for citizens.

Niagara 2041 examines:

  • Housing, population and employment growth across the region
  • How water and wastewater services can improve and account for future need and demand
  • How we currently travel in the region and how to plan for transportation needs according to anticipated demand
