Create an account

You may create an account by using your email address or by signing up using your social media login.

Sign up using your email address

  1. Select the ‘Sign me up!’ button at the bottom of the login screen
  2. Enter your email address and the password you would like for your mySTC account
  3. Review and agree to the Terms and Conditions
  4. Select ‘Sign me up!’
  5. You will receive a verification email to confirm that you intent to sign up for a mySTC account. Select the verification link in this email to finish signing up for your account.

Sign up using an existing social media account

You may also sign up using your existing social media account. You may use your Twitter, Google, or Facebook login to register for a mySTC account.

  1. Select the social media account that you'd like to use to sign up for mySTC. This is done by selecting the image of the social media account you'd like to use.
  2. Complete the login instructions to finish signing up for your mySTC account using your existing social media login.

You will find that some widgets found in mySTC are based on the address you have provided for your account. Please note that you do not have to add your address to your account.

  1. Select your profile icon from the top right corner of your mySTC dashboard.
  2. Select "Add Address" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Enter your street name in the "Street Name" field.
  4. Enter your street number in the "Street Number" field.
  5. If applicable, enter your unit number in the "Apt/Unit Number" field.
  6. Select "Save".

You can change the location of widgets on your dashboard to keep the information most important to you at the top of your dashboard.

  1. Select "Edit home screen" near the top right of your dashboard.
  2. Select a widget to drag and drop it to its desired location within your dashboard.
  3. Select "Save home screen".

You can remove a widget from your dashboard if you do not wish to receive updates and view information related to that widget.

  1. Select "Edit home screen" near the top right of your dashboard.
  2. Select the "X" in the top right corner of the widget you wish to remove from your dashboard.
  3. Select "Save home screen".

You may reset your password from the login screen or while you are logged into mySTC.

Changing your password while logged in

  1. Select your profile icon from the top right corner of your mySTC dashboard.
  2. Select "Account" from the dropdown menu.
  3. While in the "Your Information" tab, select "Change password".
  4. Enter your current password along with the new password you would like to have and select the "Change password" button at the bottom of the screen.

Resetting your password

If you have forgotten your password and cannot login, you can send yourself a password reset email.

  1. From the mySTC login screen, select "Forgot username or password".
  2. Enter the email address you used to sign up for mySTC in the "Email address" field.
  3. After you have received a password reset email, select "Reset password" and enter your new password.

You may change your notification settings so you only get notifications from the widgets that are most important to you.

  1. Select your profile icon from the top right corner of your mySTC dashboard.
  2. Select "Account" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select the "Widget settings and notifications tab".
  4. From the menu of your widgets listed on the left hand side, select the widget you would like to change the notification settings for.
  5. Beneath "Would you like notifications?", select a notification type from the dropdown menu.
  6. Select "Save" to save your changes or "Cancel" if you would not like to change your notification settings for the selected widget.

  1. Select your profile icon from the top right corner of your mySTC dashboard.
  2. Select the toggle button next to "Dark mode" to turn on dark mode.

  1. Set up a St. Catharines e-billing account
  2. Log in to mySTC
  3. Ensure you have your property associated with your mySTC account
  4. Click “Link account now” in the Water or Tax Widget
  5. Enter your e-billing login information (email and password) and click sign in
  6. Log back into mySTC

You only need to link one of the two widgets. Once linked both widgets will draw information from your e-billing account.
