Hospital

The state-of-the-art Marotta Family Hospital opened in March 2013 and has been the catalyst for a number of significant improvements to patient care. The opening of the hospital meant Niagara residents wouldn’t have to travel out of region for a number of treatments. Niagara North Family Health Team

Formed in partnership with the City, the Niagara North Family Health Team is a teaching facility, affiliated primarily with McMaster University, that offers patients a team approach to healthcare and determines the best possible plans for the health and wellness of patients.

The Niagara North Family Health Team is also home to a Diabetes Education Program, which provides ongoing support and education to those with type-two diabetes.
