Respectful Public Conduct Policy
The Respectful Public Conduct Policy recognizes that all employees and individuals visiting, communicating, or conducting business with the City have the right to be free from disruptive and inappropriate behaviours. This policy illustrates the City’s expectation that all individuals behave in a manner that respects the rights of others. The policy lists examples of inappropriate and prohibited behaviours and extends beyond in-person interactions to all types of virtual and electronic means of communication. The policy also provides direction to staff on how to effectively address inappropriate behaviours and discourages City employees from tolerating inappropriate behaviours.
The Rzone Policy outlines a zero-tolerance approach to inappropriate behaviours such as violence, harassment and racism at City recreational facilities and properties.
