Ontario Street Corridor Secondary Plan Neighbourhood Advisory Committee

The Ontario Street Corridor Secondary Plan Neighbourhood Advisory Committee will help to guide, review, and provide input into the Secondary Plan study components, including background analysis, visioning, land use concepts and implementation.

Meetings

The Neighbourhood Advisory Committee will meet quarterly, or as required at the discretion of the Chair.

Composition

The Neighbourhood Advisory Committee shall be comprised of seven to 10 members, as follows:

  • one to two landowner representatives from the Ontario Street north corridor, being the portion of the Study Area located north of Carlton Street.
  • one to two landowner representatives from the Ontario Street south corridor, being the portion of the Study Area located south of Pleasant Avenue.
  • three to four residents of the area bounded by Twelve Mile Creek, the QEW, Geneva Street and Welland Avenue, including one representative from each of the Haig and Fitzgerald Neighbourhood Associations.
  • two St. Patrick’s Ward 4 Councillors.

Reporting Structure

The Neighbourhood Advisory Committee reports directly to City Council.

The Senior Project Manager will facilitate dialogue with the Neighbourhood Advisory Committee and administrative support will be provided by Planning and Building Services. Additional staff resources will be provided, as required from time to time.
