Creating a Variance Report

The variance report provides a summary of any differences between the proposed details of an events and what was actually billed. It is broken down by:

  • Reference number
  • Client or organization name
  • Date
  • Badge or employee number
  • Officer name
  • Contract start and end date (proposed vs. actual)
  • Hours (contracted vs. actual)
  • Variance
  • Invoice hours
  • Comments

Generate the report

To generate an Variance Report:

  1. Login to the application 
  2. Select the "Reports" button on the main toolbar

From here, select "Variance Report" from the reports menu at the left of the page. Then, you can:

  1. Select a date range for the report

  2. Click the “Generate” button

A report will be provided in .csv format which can be opened in Excel.
