Reset Hours

The Paid Duty application awards events, in part, based on the numbers of paid duty hours each officer has worked. The Reset Hours tool resets the paid duty hours for all officers to zero prior to the specified date.

Hours are usually reset annually at a date determined by organization policy. 

To reset all paid duty hours previous to a specific date:

  1. Login to the application 
  2. Select the "Configuration" button on the main toolbar
  3. Select “Reset Hours” in the configuration menu at the right of the screen
  4. Enter a date

All hours prior to this date will be removed. This is intended to prevent long running hours from unfairly weighting the reward process.

Select the "Reset Hours" button to complete the process.
