Activity History

With news and alerts, you can view page changes, page history and publish history lists for each news item you create. Manage the revisions of your content by comparing versions. This control allows you to keep your content current and adaptable to any immediate changes that you need to make.

To access the activity history for news items:

  1. Navigate to news and alerts
  2. Click the checkbox beside the news or alerts item you want to view the history of or use the search tools and filters
  3. Select the “History” dropdown menu located in the toolbar above the list of news posts
  4. Choose either “Page Changes,” “Page History” or “Publish History” from the dropdown menu

Page Changes

The “Page Changes” feature allows you to view different versions of a news item by using the “Compare” button. Track the changes made from each edit by viewing the side bar under the “Change List” field.

Page Changes shows detailed information about each news item, including:

  • Page name
  • Created date
  • Last published
  • Last modified
  • Page owner
  • Status
  • Expired
  • Approval requests

Page History

Select “Page History” to see a documented chart of all the selected news item revisions, including:

  • Name
  • File
  • Revision number
  • Updated by
  • Modified date
  • Options

The “Options” dropdown menu allows you to either click “Preview” to view a particular revision of the news page or click “Make current” to select the draft you want to publish to your website.

Publish History

Select “Publish History” if you'd like to track the publish dates of the selected news item, including:

  • Name
  • File
  • Page Revision
  • Published by
  • Published date
  • Options to preview
