Establish QuickLinks

QuickLinks are links that are shared across all pages within one of your MainNav menus. These QuickLinks help website visitors find pages with important information on your website. They most often appear on the right side of each web page.

For example, if you have a top level or main navigation drop down menu called “City Hall,” the QuickLinks in the “City Hall” menu in Menu Manager will appear on each page under City Hall on your website.

Add QuickLinks

To add QuickLinks to a menu, you need to lock the Menu Manager in order to make changes, then:

  1. Navigate to the MainNav menu that you'd like to edit for QuickLinks
  2. Click the QuickLinks menu item
  3. Click the “New Menu” button from the “Working Menu” toolbar
  4. Complete the appropriate fields that appear on the right of the page. This is the same process as adding a menu item
  5. Select the “Save” button to confirm the settings and add the link to your menu

The link will now appear within the appropriate QuickLinks menu. You will need to publish the menu in order for the QuickLinks to appear on the public facing website.
