Bylaws
The By-law Module makes it easy for you to organize by-laws on your website. This tool provides visitors with a user-friendly search option so they can easily find the by-law they are looking for.
Accessing the By-law Module
To access the By-law Module from the back end of the i:Create Content Management System (i:Create):
- Select “More+” from the i:Create Utility Bar located at the top of the page
- Select “By-law Module” from the dropdown menu
This will take you to the “By-law Admin Page” where you can add by-laws and categories to the By-law Module.
Add a by-law
Select the “Add New By-law” button located in the top right of the page. This will take you to the “Create New By-law” page. Fill out all of the necessary information about the by-law and then select the “Save” button. This will add your by-law to the directory on the “By-law Admin Page.”
You can:
- Add the name, number, category, description, etc. for each by-law entry
- Upload a copy of the by-law or consolidated by-law
- Include information about any amendments or repeals to the by-law
- Choose to hide a by-law so that it isn't displayed to the public
Edit a by-law
To edit or delete a by-law from the “By-law Admin Page”:
- Select the “Edit” button next to the by-law you want to edit
- Enter all of the information that you'd like to change on the “Edit By-law” page
- Click the “Save” button to apply all of your changes
Delete a by-law
To delete a by-law from the module, select the “Delete” button next to the by-law you want to edit. You will then be asked if you are sure that you want to delete this by-law. Select the “Cancel” button if you no longer want to delete the by-law from the module. Select the “Delete” button if you want to delete the by-law from the module.
By-law categories
Contact your eSolutionsGroup Project Manager if you would like to add a new category to the by-law module.
