To crop an image, select the “Crop” button located at the top of the image editor. Place your cursor on the image and click and drag to make a cropped image. Release your mouse and then you can adjust the size of the cropped image by clicking one side and making it smaller or larger. When you are happy with the cropped image, select the “Apply” button to accept the changes.
Edit Image
The i:Create Content Management System (i:Create) includes image editing software that allows you to flip, rotate, crop and resize images. You need to upload the image to i:Create before you can use the image editor.
Access the image editor
- Locate the image in File Manager
- Click the “up arrow” located in the bottom right corner of the image thumbnail
- Select “Edit” from the dropdown menu to access the image manager editor

Click the “Resize” button located at the top of the image editor. Place your cursor along the border of the image and when your mouse turns to an arrow, you can click and drag the image to make it smaller or larger. When you are happy with the size of the image, click the “Apply” button to accept the changes.
Select the “Flip” button located at the top of the image editor, if you'd like to turn your image upside down or create a mirror image of the picture. You can select the “Horizontal” checkbox if you want to create a mirror image, or select the “Vertical” checkbox if you want to flip the image upside down. When you are happy with the image, select the “Apply” button to accept the changes.
If you want to rotate the image, select the “Rotate” button from the top of the image editor.
Select the corresponding checkbox to rotate the image:
- 90 degrees
- 180 degrees
- 270 degrees
Save changes/revert to the original image
After you've finished editing, click the “Save” button located at the top of the image editor. This will take you back into File Manager. From there, you can select and add your image to the content.
If you are unhappy with the edits you've made to the image, select the “Revert” button and you will restore the original image.
