Add or Upload an Image to Content Page

Images can add a visual element that complements the text on your page.

To add an image to your page:

  1. Place your cursor in the “Editable” area where you want the image to appear
  2. Select the “Insert/Edit Image” button from the “Edit Toolbar
  3. Click the “Browse” button located beside the “Image URL” field
  4. Navigate through File Manager to get to the appropriate “resource” folder
  5. Double click the image you want to add
  6. Select the “Upload” button if you need to add an image from your computer
  7. Enter a description of the image in the “Alt Text” field
  8. Click the “Insert” button to add the image to your page

In the “Insert/Edit Image” pop-up box you'll need to fill out the “Alt Text” field with an objective description of the image. Learn how to create effective image alt text. You need proper alt text to satisfy accessibility standards and legislation.

Wrap text around an image

To wrap text around an image:

  1. Add the image to the line with the text you want to wrap around the image
  2. Select the image and click the “Align Left,” “Align Centre” or “Align Right” button from the “Edit Toolbar”
