Select “File Manager” from the i:Create Utility Bar located at the top of the page in the i:Create workbench. This will take you into File Manager.
File Manager Structure
Each vertical in your website has a file located in File Manager. When you click on each vertical folder, you will see a list of all pages under that vertical as well as a “resource” folder where you can add documents and images to your website.
Navigate File Manager
You can enter File Manager from the i:Create workbench (back end) or when creating a hyperlink on a content page.
Access File Manager in i:Create
Enter File Manager when creating a hyperlink
When adding a hyperlink, you will enter the File Manager by selecting the “Insert/Edit Link” button from the Edit Toolbar.
To move through the file structure, click the yellow up arrow button at the top of the file list. This will move you out of the current file, e.g., if you are in a “resource” folder and you click the yellow arrow, this will take you to the vertical file folder that corresponds with the resource folder you were in.
A set of bread crumbs at the top of the window will always tell you where you are in File Manager.
All documents, images and PDFs are saved in the resources folder. Double click on the resource folder to enter a particular folder and find a resource.
Create a new folder
Once inside a resource folder, you have the ability to add your own subfolders to help organize all of your resources.

- Click the “Create folder” button located in the top right corner of the resource folder
- Enter a name for your new folder in the “Folder name” field
- Click the “Create” button to add the new resource folder
Create a new folder in version 2

- Click the “Add New Folder” button located in the top right corner of the resource folder
- Enter a name for your new folder in the “Folder name” field and choose a folder category in the "Category" field
- Click the “Add” button to add the new resource folder
Tip
Adding subfolders can help you organize the files located under each vertical menu on your website, e.g., create a development applications subfolder to store all of the PDFs and documents that relate to development applications.
