If you have Version 1 of File Manager, it will list your vertical folders and pages in the middle of the page.
Add a File
To add resources to your website, select “File Manager” from the i:Create Content Management System (i:Create) Utility Bar located at the top of the page in the i:Create workbench.
Find the appropriate file folder
Each menu vertical on your website has a file folder in File Manager. When you enter File Manager, select the vertical folder that contains the page with the resource you want to add or delete. Next, select the “resource” folder located at the top of the page list.
You can add file folders to the File Manager to help you organize your resources. You can also make a list of favourite files to help you save time navigating through File Manager.
If you have Version 2 of File Manager, it will list your vertical folders on the left side of the page, and the folders and pages under each vertical will be listed in the middle of the page.
Upload a file
Once you've found the right resource folder, you can upload your file.
If you have Version 1 of File Manager:
- Click the “Upload” button in the top right corner of the “resource” folder
- Click “Choose files” from the “upload” pop-up box
- Browse your computer for the desired file
- Double click the file you want to upload in order to select it
- Click the “Upload to server” button
If you have Version 2 of File Manager:
- Click the "+ Add New File" button in the top right corner of the "resource" folder
- Click "Choose a file" from the pop-up box
- Browse your computer for the desired file(s)
- Select the file(s) you want to upload
- Click "Continue" and then "Done"
You will now see the file you uploaded in the resource folder. You can also add a resource to File Manager directly from a content page when creating a hyperlink.
Acceptable file size and formats
The maximum file size for uploads in File Manager is 45 MB and for images the maximum size is 500 KB. File Manager accepts a wide-variety of file types with a few exclusions. These exclusions are in place to maintain a level of safety, both for your website and the visitors who frequent it.
You can upload files with the following formats:

Once you've added resources to File Manager, you can create hyperlinks to the resources.
