Email Subscribers
When you build a website with the i:Create Content Management System (i:Create), users can subscribe to specific pages to help them stay informed. When users subscribe to a page, they'll receive an automatic email each time you update the content.
Sending notifications to subscribers
To send notifications to subscribers, you must:
- Follow the steps to publish a new page
- Select the “Send an email to subscribers” checkbox
- Enter a message in the field that appears (this message will be sent to all the page subscribers)
Subscribers will receive an email with your message, the content from the page and a link to the page on the website. Every time you republish your content after making changes, this option becomes available again in the pop-up box.
Managing subscriptions
Visit page reports in i:Create to see a full list of subscribers including the subscription history, unsubscription history and current subscribers for each page on your website.
Permissions
Signing people up for mailing lists without their permission is not permitted. There are strict laws prohibiting unsolicited emails (e.g., CASL).
