The Regional Municipality of Durham's parking by-law explains how to park and stop on local roads. Parking violations are provincial offences.
Parking enforcement
By-law enforcement officers give out tickets to illegally parked vehicles. If you get a ticket, you can pay the fine or appeal the ticket at a Provincial Offences Court.
