Supports in the Community

Community Support

Staff are available in community locations to provide support and assist all residents to address their concerns, build their knowledge, understanding and resilience.

Community staff will actively engage with residents who are seeking information, support, or access to services including:

  • Assist residents to identify and access required community supports based on their situation.
  • Provide support and system navigation related to stability supports, employment services and income assistance.
  • Assist with referrals and/or applications to various programs and services (i.e., Federal, Provincial, Municipal programs).
  • Assist with completion of paperwork and/or applications where feasible (i.e., referrals to ID clinics, online applications, creating accounts, etc.).
