Regional Early Learning and Child Care Centres
The Region of Durham operates eight Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) programs. These programs are open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hours may vary based on area needs. Our ELCC programs provide positive and healthy settings for all children.
Our centres and program costs are below. You can select the centre to email or call for more information. Read our parent handbook and program statement. Annually, we survey parents and caregivers of children who attend our ELCC programs to provide feedback on the quality of service. The Region of Durham, as required by the Ministry of Education, has completed a Value for Money Audit on our Regionally Operated Child Care Centres. This audit was conducted by Deloitte, LLP. and has been shared with Regional Council.
