The Town of Smiths Falls recognizes the valuable contributions made by community organizations, volunteer groups and individuals to improve the well-being of the community and the quality of life for its residents and to drive tourism and economic growth. The Town is committed to providing modest financial assistance to those eligible applicants through this grant program. The program budget is access and approved by Council through the annual budgeting process.
As of 2024, the On The Roll Program as been incorporated into the Community Grants application to streamline all municipal funding requests.Applications can be submitted between November 1st - 30th for the following year project. Additional submission will be considered throughout the program year, on a first-come-first-served basis, while funding is available.Those approved for funding must enter into a funding agreement and complete the annual report to be considered eligible.
